Stop the Abuse
Superior Farms might be the worst slaughterhouse in the country. Undercover footage shows lambs thrashing in agony – still conscious after botched attempts at slitting their throats. Muslim workers are denied bathroom breaks and racially abused over the intercom.
And for years, the slaughterhouse has violated federal water pollution laws – leaking toxic chemicals into Denver’s air and letting manure flow into the South Platte river.
Sign the petition now to show Congress that continuing to allow Superior Farms to blatantly ignore federal laws is unacceptable.

Tell Congress: it’s time to shut down this disgrace of a slaughterhouse – before anyone else gets hurt.

Nothing ‘superior’ about it.
Superior Farms, which owns and operates the three largest lamb slaughterhouses in the U.S., has been blatantly violating federal laws designed to protect workers, animals, and the environment.
Undercover footage reveals lambs being repeatedly shocked with electric prods, bitten by dogs, and violently grabbed by their wool. Whistleblowers have repeatedly documented lambs at Superior Farms suffering from prolapsed organs due to extreme stress.
The Denver facility alone has been fined nearly $100,000 for wage, hour, and safety violations, fostering a work environment so traumatizing that its effects spill over into the surrounding community in the form of alcohol abuse, drug use, and organized crime.
And despite being in violation of the Clean Water Act for over four years, their Denver facility continues to pollute the local river without consequences – all while nearby residents endure the stench of rotting flesh.
